The Ancestors and Descendants of Henry D Lendermon including Aunt Jim—James Frances Lendermon Love Smith: A 2022 Update

Justus Lindermann left his home in Bavaria, Germany in 1740 aboard the ship Loyal Judith for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he was a farmer and a linen weaver. His descendants participated in the Revolutionary War in North Carolina and helped to establish Greenville, South Carolina. They spent time in Maury and Caroll Counties, Tennessee, then moved south to Marshall County, Mississippi. The Lendermon family ended up in Prairie County, Arkansas where his four times great-granddaughter, James Frances Lendermon Love Smith (Aunt Jim) raised her family and where generations of descendants still live.
